Biography

Alabama raised Andrea Lynn quit her newspaper job for NYC and culinary school. Having never been to NYC (aside from a brief trip to the Statue of Liberty as a 7 year old), she soon relished in discovering the city, despite a very bad sense of direction. She also missed readily available Southern food and began an ongoing quest for the best in the city. Madison and Mayberry was created to document such searches, as well as post everyday recipes and food adventures.
