This is the third time I've made a graham cracker crust for my pie and it's hopelessly crumbled. I don't understand what I could be doing wrong. I've used several different recipes and it still happens. So I posted my problem on chowhound.com.
Here's the most recent recipe -- 1 1/2 cups already-crumbled graham crackers, 6 tablespoons melted butter and 3 tablespoons sugar..Mix all together and cook until a dark brown. It looked done but after putting my coconut custard into the pie shell and carving into the pie, the whole crust fell apart. What am I doing wrong? I await chowhound for the answers.
